ER‑AUDIO‑01 to 03 · For your DAW

Audio plugins.

Every plugin runs on a real model from physics or math: two resonators orbiting like a pair of stars, a reverb for rooms that could never be built, a spectral delay driven by a Tower of Hanoi puzzle. That model is what makes the sound move. The display shows what the model is doing, so you can tell what a change did and where to go next.

Roche Lobe, Nein Gestalt and Hanoi's Voice are nearly ready for testers. Beta builds go out to the waitlist in groups. To join, send one line saying which plugin, which DAW and which Mac you use.

ER‑AUDIO‑03 · Resonator

Roche Lobe

A resonator driven by two orbiting stars.

Beta soon

Two tuned resonators are modeled as a pair of orbiting stars. When one holds more energy than its gravity can keep, the excess flows to the other and both retune. All of the movement you hear comes from the orbit.

FormatsCLAP, VST3, AU
Runs onmacOS 11 or later, Apple Silicon

ER‑AUDIO‑02 · Reverb

Nein Gestalt

A reverb for rooms that cannot exist.

Beta soon

Most reverbs are tuned to sound like a room. Nein Gestalt simulates the actual acoustics of a space, except the space is impossible: stairs that loop back on themselves, corners that turn inside out. The reverb tail is computed from that shape in real time on the Mac's GPU.

FormatsCLAP, VST3, AU
Runs onmacOS 11 or later, Apple Silicon. Uses the GPU.

Hanoi's Voice

A spectral delay driven by a Tower of Hanoi puzzle.

Beta soon

The plugin splits your sound into frequency bands and gives each band a disk in a Tower of Hanoi puzzle. As the puzzle plays itself out, each move pans that band's echo to a new place in the stereo field. Other controls break the echoes into grains or freeze them.
